You know,
I can compare you to a lot of things.
Rainbows,
Flowers,
Trees,
Rain,
Lightning,
Thunder,
Animals,
And so much more.
The only thing that cannot stand against you
Are people.
I can’t compare you to anyone.
The way you make me smile,
Like no one else could.
You make me feel comfortable
To laugh,
To dance,
To skip,
To sing,
To hum.
You make me feel more comfortable than I am in my own house
The way you light up when you see me,
Tells me I’m doing something right.
Anything,
And everything,
I would do for you.
You don’t understand,
This thing I feel,
I see you and I’m suddenly warm,
Like I have butterflies in my stomach…
Do you know how long it’s been since I felt that?
You make me feel like a kid,
Like everything we do is scandalous,
From little kisses on my forehead,
My hand,
Cheek,
Neck,
And more,
Up to when we’re holding each other in the most intimate way
I’ve never felt more at home than I am in your embrace
It’s warm
Cozy
Amazing
As if I were made to fill that gap
I don’t know exactly how you feel,
But I know for certain
Everything I was missing
Self confidence,
Security,
Stability.
Love,
A sense of well being
I have when I’m with you.
You know,
I think of you and I smile,
I hear your name and I feel butterflies,
I hear your voice and I start looking around,
I see you and I want to run to you.
Everything about you seems so natural
Like I was made for you,
And you for me.
I love you,
But that doesn’t describe this deep feeling I have
It never will,
Because quite simply, love just isn’t enough
Saying “I love you”
Will never be enough
Because my feelings are deeper.
They mean more.
They Feel more
I adore you
I crave you in the most innocent way
I want late nights staring at the stars
I want early mornings just being held by you
I want cozy afternoons watching movies
I want lazy winters bundled up together
I want fun summers travelling and exploring
I want you
I want a future
I need you,
You’re my everything
