Nov 2018
It's been a week
of hide and seek
but today
I found a seat.

Some faces look the same
and I could at a push
name a few
One
looks like you
but
probably isn't,

There's a girl
with
'Girl '
printed on her hat
she looks like a girl
no doubt about that.

The sleeping postman
sat next to me
could easily be
a
Policeman.

Opposite to me
a middle aged lady
her nails match the colour
of her hair
Red
and I suspect
from a bottle
but
she looks quite neat
sat there on the seat
so
why do I care.

White trainer man
might be the man
who runs for the train
each day
I see
they're worn down at
the heels, but
I know how that feels
so everything seems
okay.

This has been
a setting of the scene
and what I have seen
on the Central line,

the time is 06:01
time to move along
the platform
please.
