I pretended to care
But deep down I knew I didn't
I didn't want them to scare
So I kept to being flippant

I didn't what to hurt them
Like they did me
I have a finer stem
Kind I have to be

Because kindness brightly glows
A powerful power
Bring thought to those who knows
And remove all their sour

Even if you don't care
You can pretend that you do
It's not much to bear
Who knows it can effect them too
