I've peered right through these walls.
I dream endlessly.

I could greet what is afar, beyond,
But my wings-- they've been tattered.
I could climb, indeed,
Yet, I know not how to fall so quick.

Is this me?
Or am I not present yet?

I'm certain, I am not too far,
Just over these walls, she waits.
