Oct 2018
the world has shifted its weight again
its standing on utterly new legs
with eyes like bridges you turn to fishing
i sweep the carpets and close the windows
another case of barnyard blasphemy
from the wilderness we return
on rafts made from caskets and firewood
to flag the stars and wage war on all the cars
that are left abandoned on our highways
