The good-bye poem
Let the dancing
bear move
across my
eyes,
and the
circus of
our lives that
was always
you fade
away,
and let the
silhouette
of your
last kiss
melt
upon my
lips.
release me
from these
words
to our
final resting
place,
let me
soar
again naked
back into
the stars
at night,
where you
will no longer
seek me
I will
no longer
cry,
and only
the ashes
of what
we once
were together
remain
to the
day.
