I’m not interested
in your interests,
because at the end of the day
they’re personal interests.
No love, no trust.
No love, no trust.
You look out for you,
nobody else.

I used to never believe it,
but now I can see it.
My heart’s cold as ice
because over the years
I’ve been way too nice
to you.
I tried way too hard
to please you.

I’ll treat everyone right,
but still
somebody’s got
something to say.
I’ll stay out of the fights,
but still
they find a way
to pull me in the way.

No love, no trust.
No love, no trust.

You have a hole
in your chest,
the old you died
a terrible death.
This is all that’s left of you.

I’ve got no interest
in your interests,
at the end of the day
they’re personal interests.
