It's funny how I got it
After I dumped my deposit
I lift my shirt
And bit
My left ring finger instead of the fabric

Few days later I totally forgot about it
Watched in horror how my nail seems to start decaying
Thought that along with my heart, where it's scientifically connectedβ€”
now it also faced its death

I remembered after though that that wasn't the case
My dead ring fingernail that up until now, stinks
Along with the other end of its veins
Was all caused by my own self
And its refusal to let go and make 'em start to heal
Nail fungus.
