This time it isn’t the edge of glory
no satisfaction,
not a happy end to this story.

Over the edge of a cliff.
That’s where she’ll jump,
no longer holding onto “what if.”

She hurts inside where you’ll never see.
That girl (she has a face)
and her name is me.

Jumping,, over the edge, this is her story.
Too bad it’s no longer the
“edge of literal glory.”
