You
In one moment,
You are the biggest mystery.
Like opposite sides on the same magnet,
You repel and attract me.
You are the definition of bittersweet

It's broken,
With no source of warmth,
A kink in the gears,
The gears that allowed me to
Love

You are the kink,
The missing part that completes me.
But

That was before.
That was before my heart patched itself,
Pushing through the pain,
Pushing the hurt out,
Squeezing the last drop
Of you

You were gone,
An eternity away,
Until

Faint memories haunting me, mocking me.
It was
You,
Knocking on the door of my heart.
