You haunt me
in my sleep
while I dream of
gasoline.
You come back
once again
acting like
you're a friend.
I wanted to
burn it all down
but you took the gasoline
and poured it all
on me.
I didn't say a word,
I just let you do
as I begin to burn.
You stared for a second
and then walked away.
I guess I dug
my own grave.
I should not cry,
I should not complain
for I knew since the begging
this would be all in vain.
Now I'm awake
and I see reality,
it wasn't you and I,
it was only me.
