Home alone in silence,
Then a noise from the door,
Knock Knock...
I won't answer,
There's nobody there,
Knock Knock...
I know it's just in my mind,
Knock Knock...
Maybe there is somebody,
Knock Knock...
I'll just go and see,
Something's calling me,
It wants me to open the door,
A final Knock...
I know who it is,
The door opens,
Nothing,
But something...
The demon that has consumed many,
The thing that nobody can see,
Because nobody is around to see it,
As I stand there,
Eyes now shut,
The demons mouth opens...
In silence once again,
Eyes slowly opening,
Darkness...
I shouldn't have opened the door,
My desire for company was too strong,
And now I've been absorbed,
Devoured by loneliness...
Didn't expect it to be this long, but oh well. :)
