Take my hand and let’s walk for awhile
We’ll take a mile down the old ravine trail

Just you and me, hands clasped tightly
I will share all my stories and listen to yours eagerly

Let’s do it soon. Don’t stay away
Because every day things happen that are worthy to say

So take my hand and walk with me awhile
We’ll take that mile down the old ravine trail

The reasons are stupid they make me angry
It is about feeling just how far you want to go

So take my hand and walk with me awhile
We’ll take that mile down the old ravine trail

Just you and me, with our limbs clasped tightly
I will share all my stories and listen to yours eagerly

So take my hand and walk with me awhile
We’ll take that mile down the old ravine trail.
