Did you know your gums recede?
Or how you're never free?
The Endless march of yesterdays?
The difference a paycheck makes?
It's so easy, it is, to lose a friend?
How, in moments, you feel young again?
Bruises form like rock under your skin?
Having to buy your own recycle bin?
When your spine cracks when you stand?
How hard it becomes to walk on sand?
     Your muscle turns to dough?
And no year ever goes by slow?

Did no one tell?
You're not walking hell.
Did you not know?
It's a Road we all must go.
