I’m the lonely one in this story
Pound for pound seeking out glory

Searched as far as the eye can see
I’ve been living a lie, stuck in misery
Yet, I still hold my hands in victory

I close my eyes and I can dream
Of a place where you and I can be
I found the clue to solve the mystery
Whatever it takes to be free

I am only one
A servant to the sun
I cannot lose you see,
Because I’ve already won
It was over before it begun

Sought and found
The golden crown
Foot to ground
Now homeward bound

It’s everything I hoped and dreamed
With what was filth, is now clean
Often lost, can now be seen
Abideing by an old routine

Where there’s hope
Caught in between
Matters not, which way we lean
