Lost souls

Sip sip,
She hangs on everything hanging from his lip,
Hands move up and down ending at her hip.

Sip sip,
Smile here and smile there,
Do you think life is fair?
She scuffs at that question, those questions we should not share.

Not the time or place,
They must rejoice for they have just that moment,
Let it not pass because her heart for him shall remain open.
Those words that mean the end neither of them want it spoken.

Sip, sip,
Take some water darling, 3 years at The nations' request shall pass in a flash,
Not willing to let go she wants to give this country all of her cash,
Just let him stay is all she wants,
To love and hold she's not one to flaunt.

Hands release and the angst of loneliness sets in,
Standing there with the feeling of coldness taking over starting with her skin.
Not knowing the kinds of temptations waiting for her that will lead to her many sins!
