Wide wake trying to sleep,
Won't do good as am awake,
Thoughts hammering bursting my brain,
With eyes numb and tears fall like rain,
I guess am a victim of insomnia,
Disturbing my sleep causing hypochondria,
It's another word to say having sleep disorders,
Where mind sets unrest and messes with my recorders,
Begging sleep to come as I try to shut my eyes,
Remembering you and your honest white lies,
Looking at the clock and watching how time flies,
Indeed am awake looking at the night skies,
However am determined with the sleep remedy,
Soft tunes and instrument playing its melody,
Surely earphones plugged in my ears,
Listening to such music eats away my fears...
