Still so alone
In this crowded space
The look of love fading
From an aging face

Closer still
Till you are by my side
A distance demands
As we turn, run and hide

Life has existed
Wasted in an instance
Solitary confinement
As my preference was resistance

In awe for a split second
With the masses of majority
It seems fitting though to stand stranded
Amidst the minority

My dreams and denials dissipate from my hands
Drowning with synchronicity into the bloodstained sands
Alone the enlightened stature does  stand
Never wanting to accept the burden of all you understand
