Steel Blue Eyes

His eyes watch her
Cold, harsh like steel
She trembles her belly quivers
She starts to say something
His eyes flash fire
She stops
Not wishing to anger Him further
She stays silent
Her green eyes warm
A look of sadness radiates from them
He stares harder
She realizes she has done nothing wrong
She raises her eyes glancing at Him
The warmth replaced by what
What does He see
Is that definance
He glares at her
She lowers her eyes filled with venom
Silently daring Him to chastise her
She waits
He watches
She hears the slamming of His hand hitting the table
She jumps
He smiles knowing she still trembles from Him
He lifts her chin
His steel eyes look into her definant green ones
Dare you He says
She so wants to say it
Dare you again He says
She lowers her eyes in respect
Knowing she cannot defy Him
His touch controls her
His voice causes her to become weak
Her desire to please Him
overcomes her desire to defy Him
He smiles
Laughing at this predicament in her eyes
He whispers you are beautiful
Brushes the stray tear from her cheek
Then softly kisses her forehead
His steel blue eyes become grey with passion for her
