Nov 2017
The beautiful metallic paint
began to chip and peel away,
induced
by the scorching heat
of that year's destructively brutal,
devastating, summer sun,

It quickly became obvious
That its original colour had been
concealed--covered-up--masked,
all along.
From that moment on,
it all began to come undone.
