There is a touch of gray,
In every silver lining,
So if I say I'm fine,
Theres quite a chance I'm lying,
And on the inside,
I'm dying,

There is a touch of gray,
In every silver lining,
So if I say its all sunny and smiles,
There may be a storm brewing in my eyes,
I may feel like ****,
But it can all be covered with a smile,

There is a touch of gray,
In every silver lining,
So even if I'm smiling,
And my eyes are shining bright,
That doesn't always mean I'm not close to crying,
Look behind the smile,
And see the bit of gray,
I'm always hiding.
I'm always hiding a bit of myself, from the naked eye.
