Ego
I rip away untruths
from mind at seams.

The ones I'm determined to mend
from my ego squawking.
"You're not pretty enough
Smart enough
Making enough money
Have enough friends
Unsuccessful"

Each word a stitch to change into fiber of mind.
Each word an untruth stitch
to be undone to be gone from my vocabulary.

I rip away with every breath
as new tapestry is born to wear proudly.

Proudly, as I now
recognize and celebrate in the
brightly colored fabric of my own divinity
destined to succeed.
Inspired by Marco Amora who has plenty to say. Thanks
