Nobody dances like my baby!
Others have a nice beat, maybe,
I love to go dancing with my baby
No, nobody dances like my baby.

Many times I tried to copy it
And watched others try too;
The movements are cool,
Seem an easy thing to do.
But the slides and steps
Are unique to one person.
Even in silhouette you see
There is no real confusion.

Nobody dances like my baby!
Others have a nice beat, maybe,
I love to go dancing with my baby
No, nobody dances like my baby.

It’s not something learned
In any classes for dance.
It’s something naturally acquired
By love and then by chance.
The beat starts to happen, it’s
What rhythm makes baby do.
Music moves through baby’s soul
And the body follows through.

Nobody dances like my baby!
Others have a nice beat, maybe,
I love to go dancing with my baby
No, nobody dances like my baby.
Yes, they are lyrics. Do you know a tunesmith?
