DayDream

Lost in my daydream again

a drowsy equinox.

You and I together

tangled within light,

a slow-motion reel

Our fingers shake

slightly dragging against flesh

Nerves running,

not only from touch but feelings too.

Old sayings about butterflies in my stomach,

like gravity giving way

Floating along between open kisses,

Eyelids shut from blinding light,

We longed for time.
