Flower Petals Fall,
Fall To The Ground,
They Fall Softly Without A Sound.
The Wind Comes With A Sudden Whisper,
Picking The Petals Up In A Sudden Shiver.
The Wind Takes Them Far Away From The Stem,
Puts Them With Their New Petal Friends.
Next Day Comes,
Flower Petals Fall,
They Fall To The Ground,
They Fall Softly Without A Sound.
The Wind Comes With A Sudden Whisper,
Picking The Petals Up In A Sudden Shiver.
It Takes Them Far Away From The Stem,
Leaving Them With Their New Petal Friends.
Few Days Later The Petals Fall,
They Fall To The Ground,
They Fall Softly Without A Sound.
But The Wind Never Comes,
Never Sends A Shiver,
Not Even The Most Silent Of All The Whispers.
The Petals Are Never Picked Up From The Ground,
Only Left There Fallen,
Without A Sound.
