Yeah yeah
passing has been alright
the popular white girls
my outside appearance in courtrooms
hearing the honest racism
from people who think I am white
but its boring
it gets old quick
ancient and obsolete
I want to be called ******
by friends and enemies
I want to be beyond ******
beyond African
beyond human
I want to be lynched
reincarnated
over and over
until I am a living scab
hideous and hip
all at once
I want that fury to be noticed
I want to be the one with the credit
for scaring white people
out of ever wanting to own us again
I want to be the one
to silence
your heated and β€œinnocent”
racist conversation
when I walk in the room
violently virtue
forced realization
that africans gave you
everything good you know of
including yourself
your beginning
