we may have
dated like many people do when they refuse to grow up
and we may have
broken up like many people do when they grow up
but i will still hold our time in the
fondest
of
memories

we may have been a match
                                                                  but darling matches burn

especially
in the cold winter months
with the bitter w i n d
                                        of the outside world.
but i will still hold our time in the
fondest
of
memories

even though we enveloped in each others skin and soul
for. a. short. period. of. time.
i will always cherish those moments of
i n f i n i t y
and i will still hold our time in the
fondest
of
memories

this is not meant as a hyperbole of hope
it is not the flowings of a deep thinking, lonely poet.
but of a human.
for at the end of it all.
those moments of fondest and
i f i n i t y
is the only peace we will find
in our lacklustre lives.

so darling,
i will still hold our time with the
                  fondest
                 of
   memories.

but this...

**is goodbye (not &).
to you. it is not out of spite.
