Nov 2016
If I focus beyond the noise
Upon your voice,
I am reminded of the thrum
Of your heartbeat,

And if I feel shaky
I know your arms are the safest place for me.
And If I feel scared,
I know your gaze will somehow find me.

And even in the darkest parts of my mind
Which enjoy acting out
As we near joyous times of the year,
I know for a fact that you love me,
Whether it only be for now
Or for eternity.

I hope a day never comes
In which I cannot find comfort
In your love,
Or in which you no longer
Have love to give me,
For I will always have love
That is yours and yours alone.
