They say in time
All wounds will heal
I do believe
This vaguely is true
In time all wounds will cease to exist
Whether we die
And the wound dies with us
Or we live forever
Long enough for our memory to fade
No matter how hard we persist to remember
Time eventually will force forgetfulness
Or have us grow accustomed to the pain

In time all wounds heal
No matter how much we wish
They could fester forever
Forever is an awfully long time; longer than we can ever imagine....
