We sowed, we watched it grow.
Pretentious, We watched it from a distance.

The flowers bloomed a fake velvet, with the  scent of fake daisies. Pretentious, We watched it from a distance.

The leaves soon withered a fake brown, crumbling down one by one. Pretentious, we watched from a distance.

Soon there was nothing left but the fake smell of withering and dead flowers.

My fake plants died because I refused to pretend to water them anymore.
