When life doles you a dose of tears
Some heartbreaking ordeal
As if you're dead and longing for
Earths colors to look real

Or you are at crossroad where
You're sticking out your thumb
And can't decide as hard you try
Left, right or bolt and run

When doubt climbs on and faith is paled
By circumstances drear
Hold on I say, keep hands in prayer
When Beelzebub appears

Though days feel dark and hope looks lost
You mustn't ever give in
To he that lies and sends black files
That wear your spirit thin

Hold on I say! Be brave this day
Believe me there's a light
A pinpoint now, but in a while
Will crackle you to life

And soon you'll find to your surprise
Acceptance in the place
Where you had thought that you could not
Look woe straight in its face

Hold on with death grip and be strong
With ******* knuckled fists!
For if you do, I promise you
Again you'll taste life's bliss
