Rain falls
To soothe summer pains
Burning in my core.

Scorched earth yells to the heavens,
"Amor. Amor. Amor."

Thirst quenched.
Earth drenched.
Grass glistens;
Gallivanting into a wreath.
Blue-bonnets bloom
And let out a sigh of relief.
