Anticipation of summer fun
August still runs so summer is almost done
Spending time with friends and family in being among
Even with that summer is still not done
Summer means a break from school
Having fun and acting a fool
Letting my feet breathe on the beach sand
Soaking up the sun in my own adventure land
My summer is accelerating like a Disney World ride
Thrills with taking in the sights
Oh yes, I still must be polite
This is summer and having no stress to be uptight
My summer gave me a reason to smile
Despite all the summer showers, I still enjoyed during while
I wish summer could last forever
But seasons do change
It’s the flow being the arrange
This was truly a summer, which I will never forget
Summer will soon depart, and with that being my only regret
I will not take a summer bet
Soak up all the sun while I can get
Thanks for all your warmth
The sun I will continue to take until summer’s end
I guess you could say, I found summer to be my best friend
