I don't think that I've
been the only person
overlooking
this cliff.
It looks so familiar,
like a historic monument
to all the people who ran away.
Finding themselves.

You can't be led, you must choose.
You can't be, I know.
You can't keep, you must lose
to ever gain in anything you do.
You can't ever be...
I thought I was like that,
you can't ever be.
I thought I was obsolete,
you can't ever be.
If you must, just hold on to me.
I don't have, I'm not warm, I'm not sweet,
but I'll be reassuring.
You can't be led, you must choose.

Sitting by idly,
staring at the sunset
over the cliff
of all the people who ran away.
Finding themselves.
I know.

I know.
You can't be led, you must choose while you're hanging over the cliff of all the people who ran away finding themselves.
