We've only had our eyes be closed
For so long
We forgot the way it looks to feel
Protesting in the streets
Mourning the death of the innocence
And going numb

I cannot dream right now
When I see the image as a vision
Displayed for my eyes
And the world to see
I shed all my tears in your direction

Family
Friends
Children
Goals
Aspirations

I feel the same pain you do

Black man

I feel the same fear you do
