Socrates asks too many questions
and so in Athens they give him hemlock
“Cheers! ” they say
and Socrates drinks to health
and he drops down dead

“Could I have one? ”
asks Citizen
“No, ” says the State
“cos if that’s the only kind of question
you can ask
we want you to stay alive
eat, drink and fornicate
and prop up the State”
