Don't remember
The last December
I had
That was ominously pleasant
Some people
Never had a pleasent
December
Some just had
Heartache and misery
As their wrapped up present
Nowhere near as bright as the waning crescent
Technically the exact opposite
The wrong side of the fence
Watching pain commence
Is not what we wanted
Ever in this unexpected life.
