Jan 2016
The morning came
And with a hint of rain
The sun rose high

I searched your face
In rumpled sheets
In busy streets
I looked for you

The crowds pushed forward
Too busy to care
For mundane things

You heard my voice
The thundering jeers
Of distant fears
I whispered softly.
