Took ma to the movies
Was in 3D at that
Awesome start to the new year
Till the very next day
And that's when I thought
Sure the movie was great
Afterwards a nice walk
Yet there was a part of it
I took away from her heart
Such a simple plastic wrapper
Meant to protect plastic glasses
Didn't protect itself from me
As I threw both ours away
Now one thing I need mention
Was that neatly tucked in ma's
Insuring safety of a memory
Lay her fresh placed ticket
Just as careful as she put it
She ever slowly pulled it out
