Thy blackest nights and darkest days.

Oh! tis the night of ghostly ways.

Were pumpkins howl with jagged teeth.

As the full moon shines on the cursed reef.

Tis the night of hollows' eve,

who all think and believe.

That fright and fear lay here.

Oh!  how creatures stray on thee blackest night and darkest days.
