Oct 2015
remembering visions
her loveliness against
desert backdrop
Arizona in August…
****** in the moonlight
tent-flap drawn just so
allowing both a breeze
and the scent of Thomas Creek…
freckles kissed by the sun
Pacific coast retreat
drunken hot-tubbing
passing inebriated smiles…
8000 miles across the country
and back and back
her silhouette captured
20 states holding her eyes
in my mind…
relaxed breathing of a sleeping angel
orange glow of candlelight
brought to tears over the experience
seeing love manifest…
rapidly approaching 13
years of marriage
4000, 700, 45 days
I still find myself
caught up
remembering visions –
