No one knows it better than her;
at least that was what I know.
I like to say I know her.
I saw it; how her lips curve,
how her crooked teeth show.
I like to say I know her better than anyone.
I witnessed it;
how her eyes shine
like the rays of sun hitting her face.
I like to say I knew her deeply.
But I don’t;
as the sun hits the horizon.
I’ll never.
The dusk is filling my lungs.
No one will ever.
I know, trust me.
I did.
