I was only a child
Who are you to take away my innocence
Did you know that at 20 years old I would still look at myself
In the mirror and loath who I saw staring back at me?

You see, I was told that I am like chewed gum
Tainted, unwanted, disgusting
No one wants something used
Whether I wanted to be used or not

It's not fair
I WAS JUST A CHILD
NOW THAT IM OLDER I HAVE NIGHTMARES
PLEASE. LET. ME. BE.
