I was scared to meet her.
Didn't want to change what we had,
Staying up until the morning.
With a stupid grin she always caused,
But only I could see.

Curiosity killed the cat.

With a smile I bought her flowers,
And with a smile I gave them.
But that was it,
Just a smile.
And no words could come out.

Curiosity killed the cat.

We sat there in silence,
So much to say, yet nothing said.
Silence stayed until I left,
But its changed what we had.
This is why I was scared.

Curiosity killed me.
