Little girl, little girl please don't cry
it's not your fault that you want to die
I know that he's mean to you, he yells all the time
he does it so much that his words seem to rhyme
Little girl, little girl please don't hide
it's not your fault you want to commit suicide
I know that they hurt all the bruises he leaves
he hits you so much when he tells you he loves you, you can't believe
Little girl, little girl please don't run
it can't rain forever, there really is a sun
I know that it's cold when he forces you to his room
when you refuse to go he hits you with a broom
Little girl, little girl please don't be afraid
Jesus will help you and take you away someday
I know that your weak so much you can't speak
one day you will be happy and walking on your feet
Little girl, little girl please don't cry
it's not your fault your not ready to say goodbye
I know that he scares you when he throws you on the floor
Jesus is taking you home now
you won't have to suffer anymore.

Being a victim of child abuse I know all too well what it's like to get beaten by someone you once trusted. Children get abused everyday and it's time we talked about the issue instead of ignoring it. No child deserves to be treated like that. I'm taking a stand to saying NO MORE.
