Where our basic liberties and freedoms

are being stolen from us

Are being eroded

And that most of us are feeling hopeless

In regard to doing anything about it

We see our LOVER in this same state of despair

Of anxiety

Of pain

And how can we respect that ?

By the LOVER

It it is a question of SELF respect

projected outward ...

as CARL JUNG might say

OF THE DARKNESS

BUT ONLY SEE THAT THE OTHER IS TO BLAME

Hence

We live in fear

In depression

In pain

In self doubt

And loneliness

I believe that only by stepping back

So to speak

Into a higher vision

call it

God

Evolution

Revolution

TAO

religion

( whatever )

Can we find the common ground

That will enable us

To respect

OURSELVES

AND OTHERS

and that this is the only

Foundation

From which

LOVE

might grow

And bring 2 ( or more )

People

Together

In common purpose

And with a common Reality
