Water were caught in my brown curly hair,
The trail of tears have left stains on my cheeks.
All I could feel and hear was the water beneath me.
How invitingly silent and sedate the darkness seemed.
So nice and quiet.
Free from worries.
Free from fears.
Free from memories.
Free from pressure and demands.
Free.
My hands felt numb from the cold water.
It may not have been the best idea,
But it wouldn't really matter after tonight.
Nothing would.
