Today, I miss the sun’s glow.
The clouds crowd my mind instead.
And why I’m so sad, I do not know.

A dark cry rings out from a crow,
but I’m afraid that’s actually my dread.
Today, I miss the sun’s glow.

I think I’m faking today, putting on a show.
My fake laughs will fill your head.
And why I’m so sad, I do not know.

Sweeping rains fall from my face, letting the grass grow.
The raindrops are grey, made of lead.
Today, I miss the sun’s glow.

My mom’s smile is high, but my mood is low.
And I’m afraid because I feel a little bit dead.
Why I’m so sad, I do not know.

I walk too slow,
happiness is far ahead,
today, I miss the sun’s glow,
and why I’m so sad, I do not know.
