You are there for me
when I need you to be,
it is so easy to see
that you belong to me
and that I will grow old
with you by my side
just like you had always
been there, but I was
just too blind to see.

Words had carried
my love to you and
now we are face to face,
in each others arms
knowing together
we will win this race.

Tomorrow is another day,
but tonight I hold you
as I watch the world
flying by in the blink
of an eye, your smile
engraved in
my every thought,
knowing that I love you
as much now as I did
on that very first day.

I still feel the warmth
from your glow and
the beating of your
heart deep down
inside of me and we
both know that it
is about you
