A coughing fit attacks, I lose my eyeballs
They pop right out and roll around the floor
Collecting dust bunnies, andΒ hitting the walls
Gone they are, lost forevermore

Blind I sit, now trying to adjust here
Longing for the sense I used to know
Another coughing fit hits, I lose my ears
Scurrying from me, away they go

Deafened, blind and sick I sit so sadly
Trying not to cough another round
I miss the ugliness in life so badly
And truly I do miss the worst of sounds
